India needs massive increase in higher education. I propose that we should create one university in each district.
This university would be a composite one.
Following should be the components
1. Liberal Arts unit
2. An engineering college
3. Science Centre
4. Medical college and attached hospital
5. Law college
6. Culture centre with multiple auditoria
7. Museum
India is very diverse. In the economic progress and rapid urbanisation significant part of local culture is getting lost out. We have all means of recording the voices and video recording of dance and other forms of cultural elements.
This should be done by the arts and culture centre. The museum should be not a collection of inert artifacts but a vibrant multimedia centre.
